precious blues

Hi
Question, im finding a lot of blue weapons that say precious.They dont look precious to me(dont care much for skins) Whats so precious about these weapons???,the skin??. I got a lot, even doubles. Wenn i salvage them they dont give much and at the merchant sum are a bit better priced but most just dont bring up much. Whats best to do with these??, is there a demand/market for these. Or just sell(merchant) or salvage??? Thnx for any info

As far as I know, precious just means they sell to the merchant for a slightly higher price than normal. For example, say you had an axe drop that would usually price in the 20-30g range, if it were precious it would be worth more like 40-50g. From what I have seen this is the only distinction.

Yep, thats exactly right. It just sells to the merchant for more than normal. =)

Heck half the time the precious ones end up being worth more than the purples. Since 98% of the drops go to the merchants anyhow, I wish I could get all precious! hehe

Max purples average ~100-150. Golds average ~150-300. I've seen Blue precious sell for almost 500 gold, they regularly top 200gp.
