Crazy GW dedication LOL!

I have two guildies who are husband and wife (good friends of mine as well). Suddenly in guild chat: "I think my wife's water broke.... "
His wife and him are getting a run on their 2nd characters, well his 3rd actually I think.
Anyways next he says:

"Is it ok if we go afk in the run?"

Runner (another guildie): "Np, it'll be fine"

So I am on the phone with my friend (after he has called the doctor) and in the background I hear his wife go: "Oh no ...I think our runner is dieing..."
Husband: "nah he'll be alright"

I'm sitting there yelling at both of them to MOVE IT! Today was their day away from their daughter who was with the grandfolks and they haven't played much together since his wife hit the last months of pregnancy. So basically they were eating it up and enjoying their time...
The last thing I heard after hearing her complain about a contraction was: "Hun we really should get a laptop."

now I thought I was going to fall out of my chair... Two of the greatest people I have ever known, and while I think this is just ridiculous, I also have run into a few others out there that have a hard time walking away even when real life hits. I mean I know I do.

GW is the great escape in our house, just as it is at theirs and many others.
How often do we do these silly things like ignore peeing for 8hrs straight or refuse to sleep cause we can't tear away. I used to be like that, but I burned out and my youngest doesn't tolerate it anymore.

Reguardless, congrats to them and I am willing to bet that they and new baby make it to the Dragon Festival, even if for a short time.
(Sorry this has been a major happy moment for me, for them!)

WOW LOL just reading about it I chuckled, I could just imagine hearing it IRL so the Dragon Festival will be even more special to them, tell em congrats. i could just imagine if this happened to me.
Wife: "I think my water broke"
Me: "Darn it I almost killed Kanaxxai too, well too bad"..."hey guys can ya save a Kanaxxai weapon for me? I gotta take my wife to the hospital, she's giving birth....weird timing huh?"

No I am sure with the two of them they would have waited till he was done... They were really taking their sweet time about it.

The thing is, when it comes time it just seems unreal and ya never really let it sink in especially after you've had one already that there is any real rush. My concern was that her OB appointment was today and their doctor is out of town due to a death in the family. The live in little backwaters BFE and there isn't much that is ever an emergency to them. She's supposed to have a C-section because of gestational diabetes, they don't know if its head down because of the canceled appointment... I'm just sitting here worrying a million and one things for them and besides the laptop thing they were waiting for their 3yr old to finish her food.... Soo yeah, they would never have been in a hurry. And I will tell em ^_^ Thanks!

Alright guys My wife and I are the ones refered to in this thread. We did manage to make it to the hospital and they sent us home without any answeres. The entire time we were there ... and still right now my wife is saying that we should have just stayed home and played GW.
