N/Mo Solo builds / strategies?

Hey

I've been playing my MM for a week or so in cantha now, and have only just started the tyria missions from d'alessio seaboard.

I have :

16 Death magic
10 Soul reaping
12 Blood Magic
+ 5 spare

The build i normally use is..

Vampiric Gaze
Life Siphon
Animate Flesh Golem
Animate Bone Fiend
Animate Vampiric Horror
Blood of the master
Soul Feast
Deathly Swarm

I've tried soloing my way to Ghial (as I want his staff) and died at the first batch of mobs, being unable to take down at least one of them.

Is there a build for soloing in general that anyone can tell me, or if theres builds for different areas is there any chance of finding those out too?

+ also, does anyone know the drop rate on Ghials Staff in Xaquang Skyway? Killed him 7 times today and the staff didnt drop once

There are solo build threads and there are farming threads for the N/Mo.

You should look at those for builds or at least, inspiration.

You should also go with henchies, it makes things go easier.

With the maximum number of minion limit, the only way a minion master can effectively solo against level 20 opponents, IMO, is using the minion bomber technique - applying Death Nova to your minions either before or during the battle to take down your opponents.

Otherwise, if that doesn't work, I would switch from Death to Blood Magic and focus more on degeneration + kiting.
