Obsession for orbs - People to lazy to farm.

Saw some dude selling 2 for 9k. Yeah, you read that right. He soon lowered his price.

It's the perfect solution to detect ebayers.

Farming Orbs are the most easy thing to do.

I sold 180 orbs for 105k this afternoon.

So if they have that much money, farming surely doesn't bother them, unless they ebayed their gold.

If you do need 250 of them as some people have predicted, that's just wrong. Two hours for me yielded ~20 and that's the limit of how much I could possibly handle farming.

There will be games, which will place a TON of Orbs into the market.

Farming isn't the only option here.

farmed a full stack easily in a few hours, u often get one each kill up to 4-5 in a row

People doing all of this for a silly brokeass dragon mask? Hell... I idle at grotto and even I won't waste my time like that.

Now if I can get like 150 orbs in about 2 hours and sell them for 105k like dude a few replies up, thats a different story.

Actually, you can. Well, not 150, try closer to 100 in 2 hours. Remember, when an item drops the server picks from all characters in your party, including the henchmen. If you want to hog all the drops you have to do it solo. As for price, I've seen between 2-5k per, but then again, as they say, a fool and his money are soon parted. I guess there are just alot of fools around.

After Gaile left, people were selling or trying to sell jade orbs for 5k each.

I already sold one for 50G, so my new survivor mesmer could open the storage. The previous messie died by bonedragon and poison.
I currently have 75 orbs.

whay do ppl buy them?? they are very easy to farm, I got 80 in 1 hour, and I didn't even try hard.

Because people forget that there will be quests to get more once the festival starts, and are too lazy to farm them themselves.

Where'd you farm? I only got 30 so far but got a 20k profit. I'm gunna' laugh at everyone that bout for like 500g tomorrow.

I find that outside the docks on pre island gives the most orbs. Just use frenzy for 2 hit kills and 10+orbs every 7-10 mins.

If you do need 250 for a single mask.. Think of how much gold there going to remove out of the market.

Farm Orb(s) -> Sell to players that a) don't have time b) lazy c) want it now and have the gold lying around.. and exchange all that gold in to:

One time useless monster drop item that can be exchanged for a cool looking but tatical disadvantage mask.

The gold wont be out of the market...it will just be in the hands of the orb seller

Well, i'd had a pretty poor day with drops (apart from that black dye and a awesome Rt wand), but managed to get ~50 orbs from soloing vermin, and a further ~80 from resetting seige quest on island.

Observed the market for a while and sold 130 for 35k (near enough 260ea), tbh i'd rather have the money. If a do want a helm that bad, i'll just have to work for it.

Today I worked about 1.5 hrs and i got ~85 orbs and a black dye

If its about the same difficulty as farming for the other mask I'll be happy, I could barrage farm those naga in my sleep.

20-30 minutes for 30+... sold 300 each... 20 sec to sell them all... I am loving the money making =D
