i really think farming orbs will be really cool so i did it and it worked awesome good so i posted here (but don't tell anet cause they nerf it). this is mi first farm post and i hope you all like it and if you don't then you suc
ATTRIUTES:
standerd IWAY eoe1 attributes
SKILLS:
W/R
Cyclone Axe (or triple chop)
Eoe
basically anything else you want ( i would bring a pet so you don't get bored)
PROCEDEUDR:
1. go out of Ran Masu Gardens into kinya province
2. agro everythinhg (i would suggest a storm bow cause bugs are attracted to shiny things) <also could bring flatbow
3. lay down eoe and cyclone axe a group4.pick up your orbs
5. go back to #1
i ussually get about 30 orbs a run but sometimes more and less and each one lasts about 2 mins but i've never timed so idk.
P.S. the seret is to agro all the bugs first

i think I'll try this with a different varient...I'll probably go A/R and use Barrage + EoE. Hopefully that will mean 6 dead in 1 shot = 6 EoE hits = more dead = more EoE hits... This looks like a ton of fun.

Anyway, it might work if you have a starter bow or something or low markmanship. But if you aggro something and dont kill it, you might just as well use a good bow and high marks and kill it on the first hit...

I think what I'll probably have to do is take a minimum dmg bow and aggro stuff by using barrage. Takayun Tsi I believe has an ENORMOUS mob attatched to him. Smack him and see if they all aggro.
I'll probably do something like this:

Well... ive tested it, I managed to pull about 20 mantisses, but only 1 dropped a Orb. As far as dropchance on Orb is, I dont think that his picture is genuine. The corpse is from the boss, that doesnt go away after a certain time. But aggroing the whole lot, seems to take just about as much as time as shooting them 1 by 1 with my Drago. Especially when the boss puts Crippled on you.

The build works, if you had actually looked at his screenie, the one corpse there is a boss corpse. Boss corpses don't vanish. Everything else but bosses and player corpses vanish. To top it off, if he had placed the drops, it would look different and it's possible that he would not have remembered to have a Jade Wind Orb cluster of 3 for the boss.
Put a bit more thought into it next time. Maybe he went and got a coke or something. Literally 20 secs or less and he would've lost the non-boss corpses.

But still its a fun way, ppl have been using EoE all day I hear. But I doubt its really faster than a charging warrior or 1-shot-1-kill-ranger

when i tried a bow i killed them all first hit too. i am seriously at a loss on how to bomb these fellas. as it stands, no matter which char i use seems to kill them in one hit, but im looking for a way where i dont have to target/hack EVERY single one ...

Well, EOE farming works on Grawl, yes? I wonder if its just for groups that are pissed at you or no... either case, the HUGE swarm of enemies north out of the last Shing Jea mission in the lagoon, near that pier... (they spawn with some quest I believe) is probably your best bet as A) they are all already pissed at you so its easy to get them to aggro B) theres alot of them C) they are humans and trying to stay alive through an EOE bomb if humorous. Consider bringing Shielding Hands/Healing Hands/-2 Stance Bow for the farming...

It might work if you bring Mark of Protection. Could be risky. hmm sounds like fun

You may need to complete the first mission before the gate opens. Only took 12 min with my MM.

This is a compleat and pathetic LIE!!! im angry with you because when i saw this screen shot and u said that you get about 30 orbs per run i freaked out bought a run for my warrior at kaining center to the marketplace for 5k!!! then at markeplace i went to setring harbor and bought a run to ran masu gardens for another 5k!!! then for some reson i fell for you BUGS ARE ATRACTED TO STORM BOW! LIE!!!! and bought a nice storm bow for 15k Then i went out agrod all bugs!! all of them killed and got 1 freken ORB!!! 1 freken orb!!! then i did it total of 12 times!!! and got a grand total of 18 orbs!!!!!!! U are a lier if anyone is thinking about doing this dont

Just goto the town, Minister Cho's Estate, and do the mission there. It's the first mission that a Canthan character does, in the town that the quest "A Formal Introduction" takes you to.

Just wanted to make this thread a little more useful.
I farm for jadewind orbs near the tsunmei village with my vengeful-ritulist.
All i do is take the second quest of the blade of the emperor where all the Quimang-Guys come to siege the village.
Kill on both sides of the village, then abandon the quest, retake it and repeat.
I get about 5-10 orbs in about 10 minutes...
Another way could be to farm vermins out of senjis corner, they drop those orbs aswell...
Hope that this at least helps a little.
