How does my Assassin get Verata's Aura?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but the search was disabled, and I couldnt find anything on google.

My Assassin wants Verata's Aura or Gaze, but I really dont want to do half of Prophesies to get it. Isnt there an easier way? Is there perhaps a Factions version of Ember Light Camp, or should I just go to LA and hench it over to Verata himself and beat the stuffings outta him?

if you have the skill unlocked already on your account, it should be available at the LA skills trainer.

How do you unlock stuff? I went on with my mesmer that is at ember, and bought the skill, but it wasnt available to anyone else(they are in factions). So do i need to take a boat ride to LA with my Assassin?

if your looking to get those skills for a pvp build, it would be best to just get some balthazar faction and buy it from the priests.

but if you're trying to get it for your assassin, your best bet is to find verata and cap it from him, because the closest place you can buy it from is copperhammer mines, which is pretty far away.

This is the correct response. If you purchased it on your mesmer, then simply take your assassin to Lion's Arch and you will see Firstwatch Sergio has it available to you for purchase on your Canthan character.

As has been implied above, Prophecies only skills are only available in Tyria. It doesn't matter if you have them unlocked already, the Canthan trainers simply won't train you in them.
