Confused in Factions

Ok so I just recently bought factions and it is great! But I am confused about somthings. I run a guild and I would like to know where you go to get a faction for your guild for example I want the Kurzick faction for my guild. Also another thing how do you get a guild to join a alliance with you if you are the leader. Another thing I have the Guild Wars Core set as well as factions and I added the access key to my core set where do you go to get to the other country I go to Lions Arch but it does not let me travel to the other country. Can some one please help me out here?!?!?!?!?!?!

1. If you have a guild hall you will be able to travel from their to the Alliance battle maps. You can choose to ally with Kurzick or Luxon via the NPCs in your guild hall. Also I think you might be able to join a side if you're the guild leader and you talk to a certain NPC in the factions' capital cities, Cavalon or House Zu Heltzer.

2. If your guild has a flag, you should be able to invite a guild from the "Alliance" tab in your guild interface window.

3. If you talk to the skills guy in LA, (I believe his name is Firstwatch Sergio) your characters can get a quest that will lead them to Cantha. Your chararacters have to meet a requirement though before they are able to recieve the quest. The requirement is either that they are lvl 20, or that they are "ascended". I'm not sure which requirement it is, or if it's another. If you're not sure what being ascended means then you'll have to follow the mission storyline until it tells you.
