uses of festival prizes?

well, tickets cost 15g per - you can trade 25 tix for a prize, so basically prizes are 375g "face" value.

so far the prizes ive gotten turned out to be:

5 jade wind orbs- (im assuming the only use is for masks- so if you do the quests and get 240 orbs per char that way, you only have to farm or "open" a total of 60 orbs for 6 chars)- this is what id want LEAST out of a prize.

rice wine- alcohol, yummy- now has anyone tested whether this works as ale/eggnog or a SPIKED variety? either way doesnt seem like too much of a deal at 375g per (maybe if its spiked ....)

red bean cakes- k, ill admit i have no clue that they do (too busy getting drunk and gambling!)- can anyone enlighten me/us?

if ive missed a prize or 2 its just luck- i spent several hundred tix on prizes already. also, i havent noticed any holiday collectors around- has anyone else? i missed out on the tengu thing but at wintersday, collectors were scattered around a few different cities. i did a bit of stocking up (speculating) on collecter drops on shing jea isle hoping i could trade em for goodies. if not, oh well- ya win some ya lose some.

My friend said he got 5k off one of the prizes i dont belive him though cause hes a word i cant say or ill get banned again ._.

Rice beans make you run 25% faster for 5 mins (works in towns!! <3)

The Rice Wine seems to be regular ale (takes more than 1 to get drunk), but I could be mistaken.

I've seen 1k from prizes... not sure about anything more than that

red bean cakes = faster for 5 minutes

The cake, more significantly, works in towns.

I ,myself, am disappointed there there is no Candy Cane variant.

Me too..i sold all my CCs cuz I figured there would be.

Although, I got 1k from a prize box, that made me happy.

Also, there might still be Candy Canes, or equivelent... for Wintersday, they added new collectors all the time, if I remember correctly... nothing keeps them from adding more goodies later

ya this festival is amazing, i jsut want to stock up on rice wine/bean cakes and sellt hem later for that ever so precious plat =)

Do you think they'll sell well? I mean, CC's definitely did, but I'd say 25% speed boost is far inferior to remove all DP

i understand what everthing else does. Not clear what the Rice bean does.

It might be worth stocking up on bean cakes for the sole purpose of running. If you use one would you be able to keep a 25% speed boost + the boost of running skills? Might have to try this out as for certain runs I imagine this would be very handy.

very good point- i never considered the possiblity that the 25% may actually stack with other run skills (like sprint + charge = 33% faster boost). anyone out there wanna test this out? i seriously doubt it will, but at least we'll know which of the prizes to hold onto if it does.

I agree that would be cool, but sadly the bean cake sprint effect ONLY works in towns. so if you leave town, it won't work. so it can't stack with anything. really the only use i can see for them is either amusement, or ease of getting around huge towns like droks, or kaneing centre without wasting as much time...not a huge gain, but an amusing effect none the less. If i wasn't trying to save up for Urgorz Longbow i'd probably try and get some myself

If anyone wants to farm up and save a few I would love to buy em iono 400g each?
