Anyone know? After you finish all the quests with Imperial Guard Hanso in Shign Jea, he tells you there's nothing more you can do, and tells you to talk to Captain Rujiyo. I've looked in all the major towns in Cantha and just outside a few of them in the explorable areas, with no luck. Anyone have any ideas?

Checked kaineng, everywhere on shing jea island, lots of places in the city, harvest temple...he might be outside, or maybe even not added yet...still can't find him.

seeing how it's taking place in and around the monestary.. i think this is an OOOOPS situation where they might have forgotten to set him in game. ofcourse I am most likely wrong.

Maybe he is the final guy? Like the Mad King was for Halloween, they will need someone to hand out the masks.

Just a guess based on the fact that he says that when you've completed all quests and have at least 240 jade orbs.

The emperor is the one who is supposed to hand out the masks, at least that's what the info available so far is saying. so there goes that theory. He probably will be coming later on in the event. it's a 5 day event with only 4 quests? doubtful. they're probably just staggering release so that people don't get bored with the whole thing after friday and have a good reason to stay involved until wednesday.

Someone told me earlier that Captian Rujiyo is the Zaishen Captain in TOPK, I checked both TOPK and HA (just in case), he is in neither one.

Also, the Xunlai chest glow did change, I believe it used to be static, now it pulses.

I think it might have significance...but don't know.

You get to see it by moving a bit away from the door, moving your camera all the way up, and backing up so that you can see it. It might be tricky at first, but it's really easy.

I bet the Captain is the guy who gives out the Masks 'coz taht's the task he got from the Emperor. The Masks are inside in that chest. Could it be?

I remember that chest first time i arrived in Kaineng. It probably has some other function.

The 2 dragons on the door has been there for awhile now. I noticed them about 2 weeks ago. Stand near the door and hold down the Z key and pan the camera till you can see inside from the inside out

Emperor Kisu will be giving out the masks on the final day of the event, followed by the Master of Ceremonies for some days after (I'm pretty sure).

The best bet for Rujiyo is that he is coming later... as are the 'mini-missions' the event announcement mentions.

This is a very weird set of events, i never saw that Storage chest but it does raise some questions.l I hope to see more hints and clues unraveling from this stuff. I will be exploring too.

Teutonic, you forgot to set your radar to 'DETECT OBVIOUS SARCASM'.

I have a feeling this Captain was an oops mistake between dialogue writers and script writers, and either it's just going to be left as a dead end or corrected.

As for the masks, yes they'll be handed out by the Emporer at the end of the event.

As for the now-glowing chest, it's probably just an improved graphic and a tease. I'm sure a few of us remember the chat gem in D2. Until it has a purpose, and we'll all know when there is, it's just to keep people interested.
