well we been hearing about the new weapons (ice breaker, totem axe, etc.) were part of like a 15 part series and only like 6-7 were released, it is my belief that in this festival that the other new items will be released as well.
Your thoughts?

well there were several updates today, and it wouldnt surprise me in the least if they slipped another round of greens in.

Well, if you've done the quests that give orbs, rad on, otherwise **SPOILERZ*
You fight Lesser Grasps in those quests that have skills like the ones in the TotPK, so whatever evil the Zaishen are trying to contain (Darkness maybe), they're doing a crappy job.

hmmm the canthans closed tombs and moved it to battle isles because the "darkness" was getting out.. and now we see signs of this on shin jae island... is this a sign that there will be a new "tough area" added in the near future, especially with that chaos rift portal thingy that was there

Anyone tried to solo the first jade orb quest where you have to kill 5 yeti and one of those lesser grasp? If you notice that after killing all 5 yeti alone, you might get a gold hammer drop for you. Anyone have that happened to them yet?

I think this might be the first gold drop i ever saw on noobie island. Who knows, maybe the yeti were suppose to drop gold hammers! I did the quests twice and both time got a req 9 hammer one is 15% -5 energy and the other one is 15% in stance.

Those tengu guys(I forgot what they're called) give plenty of good stuff just like in Tyria. Even though they're really low lvled, they dropped a lot of non-max / gold weapons. From that, I found a 10/10 furious sword hilt and 20/20AP bow string =D.

I soloed the yeti quest but only wound up with some stolen supplies and a few white items. However, I have gotten gold drops from Dragon Lillys in Haiju Lagoon on multiple occasions before the Dragon Festival was even announced, so golds on the island isn't limited to these quests.

I got a ruby drop on the starter island last night (after the event started)....its the first time i'd EVER seen a ruby drop, for me or anyone else

I guess I've been luckier with the rampaging yeti. I've solo'd it with a five characters and gotten double gold drops 3 times. I'm kicking myself that I didn't think of zoning out and coming back over and over to farm them

I got a 15^50 gold Gemstone Axe from one of the Yetis..it was 6-16 dmg though . Overall I think me and my friend got a good 7-8 non-max dmg golds from the Yetis/Birds/Graspings.

Hmm, I wonder if it might be worthwhile farming these Yeti's with all your PvE characters...
I got 2 major runes (absorption and axe mastery- both of which I then used on my warrior who needed both), and a Gold Melon Hammer. Too bad it wasn't max damage, and the only mod on it was zealous. 15% Armour -10 as well .

I was really surprised to get two gold drops from the yetis with my ele. An axe and a hammer. The hammer had a perfect mod, but not worth my time to try to sell a hammer mod. Been there, done that, pointless.
