Complaint: Kunnavang minipet...

- stops too frequently, when it should fly around smoothly
- makes too much noise with its wings when it stops

Part of the problem is that its the ONLY FLYING minipet. And the frequent stop-and-go AI behavior doesnt work well for flying pets. Anyone else agree?

This is what happens when you have a movement animation drastically different to the idle animation - watch someones Phoenix pet, you get the same jerky animation.

I agree with the noise complaint.

My biggest problem with Kuuna is not that, though.

I hated how my Kuuna would always fly really far away from me, so much so that no one knew it belonged me. Really made me wonder why I even bothered buying one in the first place since you can't "show off" something that no one knows belongs to you. For me there was no sense at all that it was my pet Kuuna. More like just eye candy for the whole team that had no relevance or connection whatsoever to my particular character.

So if they are going to fix Kuuna the order of things (based on importance) I would prefer they fixed it in:

1. Make it stay close to you at all times and/or let you name it and have the name be visible to all players.

2. Give an option to turn off the flapping & roaring noises.

3. Make it not stop so much.

personally i don't have a problem with the movement, infact I kind of like it. however, I will agree the flapping and chalkboard screeching gets VERY annoying after even a short time out. the noise is the main reason Kunnavang has to stay tucked in inventory most of the time now

Game Update :

Fixed issues with Kuunavang : Turned them all into siege turtles, because siege turtles are just more awesome.

They should make Kuunavang circle around the player's body spirally.

fix the phoenix pet, yeah a friend of mine had her bird stuck recently.
anytime a game adds 'hovering' mobs and pets it seems to be an extra challenge for them to make it work and look right

all the minipets are just toys, quite frankly if you want a noise complaint check out the troll lol - my warrior always thinks he's back farming talus chute
kinda fitting that's the one he got... anyways I think they've spent more than enough time on kurvaang, the CE debacle, and all that - it's time to move on

Actually, my Kuuni looks really awesome when he's flying to catch me. Smooth serpent-like movements - he even screeches because he's pissed at me for leaving him.

I agree that it's a bit jerky when I stand still. It would've been nice if they had him land or something when he catches up to you.

If they're so messed up and even a little annoying, why do people charge 100k+ for them? GW Economy sucks.

In case anyone miss-interprets that, I'm serious, I want to know why people try to charge over 100k for them.

Really, put it away then. They are there for your enjoyment, if your not enjoying it sell it for big bucks or put it away. There are a lot bigger issues don't ja think?

Kuny is kewl....

....errr... well... except for the fact that he/she/it never STFU.

Hence, the reason why it stays in my pocket, and why I bring out "Little Boner" (Necrid Horsemen).

Little boner might not say much, the strong silent type thingy, ya know, but at least he doesn't annoy the crap out of me after a while.

So, I agree, Kuny's pie hole definitely needs a hex of duct tape, so we don't lose out sanity.

I only take out Kuunavang when I want to hear the satisfying "Flap..... Flap" of it's wings. I forget I have mini-pets.

Mini-pets should make their own sounds, just like the big versions of them.

BUT! as they are MINI pets, they should make their "voices" high-pitched and a little more quiet. *squieeeeeek* instead of *ROOOAAAAAAARRRR!!*
