Orbs, Orbs, Orbs, and....Orbs!

I have played this game for 23hrs consecutively, farming orbs (did Tombs and some UW farm though) and i have 5stacks of 250 Jade Wind Orbs. I have 1 stack of about 26 and growing.
I have heard of Mantid Pincers being an item to save for a collector....anyone else have info or have heard about this?

I just farmed about 100 of them, then went about buying another 300 for 200g each.

I sold them all at 400g each... talk about profit

400g each!? Is this on the american servers or what?

plz tell me you guys are talking about like farming the quests and where do you play i sold100+ for 15g each (buy those damn festival tickets)

I foolishly farmed 100 orbs. Turns out the simple quests give you 240 orbs at about 3 min per quest...and a dodgeball win in the Dragon Arena gives you 4, I think.

I have 1000 orbs now. Time to wait for the masks

The market for orbs has already bottomed out, congrats to those who sold them last night at a healthy profit (like me)

yeah, i made about 100k last night sellin them all

yeah I dont understand anyone buying these but I guess people didn't learn from day of the tengu

I got home from work 2 hours before the bottom dropped out on the price of orbs, and I quickly make 300k off of orbs by buying low and selling high. As soon as the quests and games arrived my fun little trading spree was over. Welp, I guess I'll have to resort to selling unopened presents. I opened a ton of presents at first and basically got either a Bean Cake, Rice Wine, or 4-5 orbs. I don't believe this is true, but I saw a guy in Lions Arch selling presents in lions arch for 5k advertising that you have a chance to get a mini-pet. If that were true I would open more, but I doubt it is. I'll sell them to turn a small profit, but I won't resort to lieing to people about what the gifts are.

Anyone that buys an unopened present from you for more than 375 gold is either (1) an idiot or (2) doesn't have Factions.

#1 is true because you can go buy them from the Festival Prize guy for that much (25 tickets x 15 gold each).

OMG, that's just sick!

I gave up farming them at 70. I don't know how people do it. It was bad enough doing it for candy cane shards.

Why farm them when the quests give enough?

The 4 quest line from Imperial Hanso takes approximately 30-40 minutes total and gives 240 total Orbs as rewards.

Don't go out shooting the poor Kappa hatchlings, for the love of all turtlekind.

30-40 mins? took me at most 10 mins with my assassin solo'ing it.
