Hi all !

My idea is to make option to putt your items on slae (like auctio, but nor same) in game. For example: you wanna sell many items at once, you all make your "shop house" in game where you put your item and his price, and everybody can see it, and if they wanna buy it they need to pay exact amoun of gold (material) what you asked for it. I used to play knight online and in that game was this kind of ppl's sale. it would be lot easier for ppl's to sell their items and there wouldnt be so much spamming in local/trade channel.

and of course my suggestion would be to make more space for money on your character/storage (100k/1000k is too little space)

thnx all

Yes in KO you can put up merchant tables, only downside is you can't move or your table disappears.

I have to disagree. I have played several MMO's with this feature and all people did was set up a table in a town and afk in droves, resulting in serious lag and being annoying to walk through. There were literally cities of merchant "shops" and it killed the MMO.

I generally don't leave Guild Wars on all night. And Anet has already said that some day in the near(relatively) future, we will see an actual auction house system. So, I think we can wait until that happens.

Last I saw (I believe it was from Alex Weeks or Gaile Grey - it's too early in the morning) the auction house was out the window and they (Anet) are "Investigating" trade improvements. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that's what I saw - Dev Chat forum, chat log maybe... /shrug - like I said, it's early.

Or you could sign off instead of bogging down the servers for those who are still awake.

Since there is a limit of 100 people in a district, a stationary shop would be useless as you could only reach the few people in that district that aren't there to sell things.

Or you would get 2 man selling teams with 1 person manning the shop, the other person traveling around spamming to go visit that shop for "great deals on godly weapons".

And we can't forget that you would still have to chose between sitting around waiting for people to trade with you, or time spent actually playing the game. But not, because you can run the shop while AFK, you increase the load on the GW servers, increasing both lag and ANETs bandwidth costs.

I'm convinced that an auction system would be better for both buyers because it handles the selling for them so they can keep playing. And better for buyers because it should allow you compare the prices of similar items, so its harder for you to be ripped off.

well all the lag for others and district problems could be solved my making seperate shopping districts (like international but for shopping)...
