its seems silly to me that GW has introduced so many holiday headgears that nobody wears because of the fact they provide no armor an no bonuses.
I propose a sort of holiday customization that allows you to:
1) select which bonus you want (ie: +1 Marksmanship)
2) apply an armor class (ie: armor 70)
you would be able to pay for customization with event items (ie: jade wind orbs) or gold.
if this was put into place then we would see alot more of these items being worn for more than holliday games.
whatcha guys think?

They are for fun, but due to not having the storage for them, there's no point in taking part in the festivals or getting them as they need to be destroyed a few days later as to make room for stuff you do need.
Adding more storage spots so you can have "fun stuff" is needed, untill then, adding AC and attribute mods to them is the only other option I can see. - besides in the form of fun, nothing would be more fun then seeing a necro wearing a pumpkin hat or a monk in a santa cap in battle.

I would enjoy getting to make the holiday hats more useful than a decoration to wear around town, even if we had to get more of the holiday items (orbs, cc shards, whatever) or add gold and crafting items later on to make it a battle-ready helm. Can't go wrong with more ways to have fun that don't unbalance the game.

I think the problem is that it would allow too easy access to low levels to max armor items. IMO, when its worn it should also leave your previous helm on (like a second area) and would just change the skins, not the defence or enchantments. anthough this raises the whole "it not making sense to wear two helmets and it doesnt show the first one" thing. I dont know, it probably should just be left as is...

there was a better suggestion for all the holiday helms/masks.
it was making it account - unlockable. let all chars type a command or have a place to take them out and delete again. save storage room. beable to use them on anyone YOU have on your account. instead of now potentially - (negative) 5 spaces for all your chars, if you got pumpkin crown, yule cap, grenths antlers, tengu mask, now the dragon mask coming. that loss of room is painful for me and alot of other people.
innovation is what gw is all about
THEY are JUST for FUN.
