Question about FACTIONS KEYS

Ok. I'm about to buy the new factions game, but I have a small question to ask.

If I add the factions key to my existing prophecies account, does that give me extra slots to make factions characters, or do I have to cope with 2 campaigns with only 4 character slots?

No for you don't.
