Axe... with a minimum dmg of 7?

I was doing the new Darkness of Kaitan quest from the dragon festival and something wierd dropped (see pic).



It didn't drop for me but the recipient of the axe (who didn't wish to be named) kindly allowed me to see it in a trade window.

I was under the impression, and have been since I got the game last year, that axes had a max minimum dmg of 6.

Just thought I'd share this rather interesting thing with you all.

always been like this, and it has been posted a gazzilion times before ...

non max dmg axes can have a minimum of 7, max dmg axes always have a minimum of 6

So you can get a 7-27 axe and in theory, wouldn't that be the same as max?

I guess it would have the same base avg, but the criticals would be lower.

never seen a 7-27 in theory i guess it could exsist..

The highest i think it can be is around 7-20, although i may have seen a 7-21 or 7-22, not exactly sure.

Actually, I haven't seen any axe dmg with 7 minimum that have maximum which exceed 20.

So, in conclusion, there is only one axe with a 7 minimum damage, and it can only have a max of 20 (not 21 or 22). Hope this helps to clarify.
