What weapon should an ss/sv/br (for 2 man underworld) use?

For as often as people are demanding Shivers from an SS Necro, surprisingly few realize that Shivers is only effective if a weapon dealing Cold Damage is used. So I always bring along a max cane that deals cold, even if I just keep it handy in a secondary weapons set.

Make sure you have energy management in some form though, whether maxed Soul Reaping or Inspiration Magic, since Shivers will drain you quickly.
