elder pet help

i just got a new phoenix and i want to make it an elder pet, of curse im not sure of how to do this. i have used the search function and like usual it isnt working. i have also looked throught this forum area and only found things about dire pet raising.

if i could get help with tips and techniques to make my pet elder that would be much appreciated.

The evolution section of The Pet Guide should answer your questions. Take special note of the fact that while the guide doesn't have a specific build posted for Elder pet-raising, it gives you one for Hearty and one for Dire. The two are used at differing stages of the pet's growth in order to achieve Elder. Otherwise, you could shoot for an unevolved pet which will have identical stats to an Elder but will require considerably less work in the training process.
