i like the first few missions in post searing, you can find a group quickly and i rarely get a bunch of jerks at that point in the game(they all got rushed to droknars or something already)

My favorite part of GW is the time commitment. I can log on for a half an hour and have fun, likewise I can log on for 6 hours and still have fun. Other games *glares at Everquest* you need to set at least 3 hours aside if you plan on doing anything.

The worst thing about the game is the 90%. The 90% are a group of complete morons, n00bs and hosers who try to make your time on GW suck. They flame, they draw genitals on maps, they charge ahead and die, then get mad about it. They think they are the best player in the world, they think they know it all. They join a group and never once move through a mission, and hope the group makes it while they watch their favorite movie. They spam, they charge you at the end of a mission and they blame the weather on YOU.

The favorite part of the game for me is getting to new towns (not mission towns though), as I always like to see which skills and armor they have. I don't really have a favorite area, though.

He seems to do that quite often, check out other threads he's posted/posted in. Yeah, its annoying.

I enjoyed pre-searing a lot too. It has an entirely different feel when compared to the rest of the game. They have to return Catacombs as a high level dungeon, and add some new content that is more like pre-searing.

It's quite simple really - he makes all these threads and posts for one reason- he's trying to generate enough posts to raise his "posting status". Ie he's trying to make enough posts to get high post-ststus.. which he seems to believe will make ppl respect him more and/or listen to him more. Thats why he makes all these rediculious threads as well as multiple "........." post's in those and other threads.

I really think one of the GuildWars Guru Mods really needs to look into this and delete all his "spam" posts and threads - because thats all they are. The "........." posts are pure spammage designed to raise his post count. Her's something taken from the GWG Forum Guidelines ->

- No Spamming

Your post count - no matter how impressive a high number might look - is irrelevant here. Therefore, please do not spam these forums, or such posts will be deleted. If you're unsure what is, and isn't spamming - a good general guideline is to look at what you're posting and ask yourself: "Does this add to or advance the thread in a constructive way?" If you answered 'Yes', then you're probably good to go.

actually, quite honestly i dont rally care about posting status, and all the garbage im getting about it really isnt even worth the time I spend explaining it.. Ive explained quite a few times why i did it, and how i would not do it again. Please people, im new to these forums, please actually read my posts before adding to the pile of trash ive already received on the account of five little dots. One message asking to stop would have been fine...i did the dots on all my posts at the same time. I have read each of the complaints and never done it since, nor do i have the desire to do it again...now that ive said that for the third or fourth time, can u guys please stop giving me garbage about it, and making stuff up about "posting status" or assuming others? Much appreciated guys

well, my favorite part of the game has to be the ring of fire. Its mega hard, but hey! Whats a good game without a challenge. I still remember my reaction when i killed that lvl 28 titan which spawned a lvl 24 risn hulk which spawned lvl 24's fist of the titan and hand of the titan. Its also a place where teamwork and well, skills are required 100%. Good drops, "unique" scenery if you know what i mean.

Place I don't like: Lion's Arch- Spam Central

My favorite part of the game is pre-seared. And, yes, even Gwen. I enjoyed her random healing me. She actually saved my life with that random healing of her's. Pre-seared Ascalon is such a beautiful place. No place matches its beauty.

Eh, I hate jerks in the game. They ruin the gameplay for me. And post-seared Ascalon. That place sucks. I was so glad when I got out of there into Kryta and the jungle. Those places look better. I also hate the trading system in this game. But, life isn't perfect.

I like Fissure of Woe. If you want to gage the effectiveness and intelligence of a group, this is the place to do it. I don't do it for the farming... I just sincerely like FoW.

Then again, I absolutely hate the UW.

Favorite Area: Pre-seering (the whole bright green nature).

Love finding a good Pug and just running on for a quest / exlporer group / mission where the group gets along well and doesnt have people Aaaaagh mentioned.

Negative, how less intelligent/stupid the all chat gets the furher along in the game espically Shiver Peaks Part 2, but gets better Ring Fire -> End of the game.

Finally playing through the 2nd time, now that I have a very good grasp of all aspects of the pve much more enjoyable and play much better overall and taking it even slower.

It seems Pre-Searing is the favorite, why is this? Most say because of lush scenery that you wont find for the rest of the game. Do you agree with this? Also, which part of the game do you find the most beneficial to your character?

Huh? Are you trying to keep a topic going (its working) or do you really want an honest answer to that question?

the pvp of course.

and no 1x1. Duels only show who's best when the templates/builds are equal. When they aren't the same, you can't really call a winner and a loser depending on who died.

Favourite aspects of the game:

1.) Does not require players to play lengthy hours to compete effectively (reasonable leveling speed and difficulty of unlocking stuff)
2.) No health/mana potions nor skill spamming makes this game more challenging in terms of timing and accuracy instead of competing resources (unlike certain games that encourage the players to spend hours to hunt consumable resources directly or indirectly)

perdition rock, wow that place is easy with hench to play with u can capture probably 4+ elite skills with your character. off topic at perdition rock i cleared the area with hench twice but didn't get healing hands and bulls charge but i got everthing else. hmm do i need to go with a real group?

You know, i like glints cave. It somewhat defines 'fantasy realm'. if you want to know what im talking about, try going to the advanced graphics settings and toggling "enable post process effects" and to be sure to do it when you in glints cave, not the class domains before (although ir might be cool there as well).

But yeah pre-searing for the win also.

i love melee mobs and warriors in general, because they can be abused beyond my dirty little imagination.

i hate wind riders, fire imps, ice imps, jade scarabei, and those strange mesmer thingys in uw i never get to see because i am just standing waaaaay behind clicking blessed signet once in while, chanting "beware, here come the clerics, carrying the holy handgranade of antioch"
oh, and mesmers.
oh well, and crystal spiders.
wait.
did i mention crystal spiders?
i hate crystal spiders.
no, they are not hard with a full party.
but i hate crystal spiders.

I had to do it 10x to get Lyssa's Cursed to spawn...so your mileage may vary.

I have a couple:

1.) Most can't believe I say this but the first post-seared ascalon mission, The Great Northern Wall. Back in Beta it amazed me, running from a hundred Charr. I usually stop and wait for them to get close to add to the effect .

2.) Surmia, the over-all quest was bad, but the Ending was far to great to pass up.

3.) Thunderhead Keep, its long, its hard, but its just a great mission for some reason.

4.) Hell's Precipice, the mission is just great. I love stopping the Titans from destroying all the major cities, and I love killing the Lich.

Good:

> Good to look at.
> Some genuinely cool people.
> Lots of good ideas in general.

Bad:

> The sum of the stolen ideas this game uses is less than the total of its parts.
i.e good bits + good bits should = mega good, instead its good bits + good bits = average mmorpg.

> The Elitest community. Trading is awful, you see an item, it ISNT special, yet they charge say 5k for it....why? because they can, because they farm, because they know you dont have one and want it. This is my biggest bitch with the game.
