Wyvern Armour FTL!!!
Addone_Abaddon
Agreed?
Don Zardeone
Best unconditional defensive armour.
Simath
It is good defensively like stated above but it is rather ugly I have to admit.
Arkantos
Wyvern is pretty ugly
But its good armour none the less.

Faer
I love my 15k Dragon Armor, but hate the Wyrven counterpart...
It is very nice armor though, even if it's ugly as all hell...

The 15k Dragon armor is definetely better looking than Wyvern.
Addone_Abaddon
I find the fluffy ascalon armour is the best looking
WYVERN ARMOUR IS SO UGLY!

Jestah
Dragon is butt ugly too :P

Yes agree, Wyvern is not very pleasing to the eye, tho it does seem to rock stats wise compared to most others, so for that reason it is the armour I wear.

Rancour
Doesn't it have the same stats as Platemail?

+10 armour against elements vs. + energy or + health.
You have to be crazy to choose the wyvern set.

wrong
90 vs everything (including elemental, dark, light, chaos, etc...) and 100 vs physical vs
80 vs everything and 100 vs physical and some energy.
Unless I'm shocking people, I hardly ever need more than 20 energy.
The only time that energy armour is useful is when the added energy actually gets used. If you see that you have more than 5 energy left at all times then you're better off with dreads.
This means that gladiators is really just a specialty set that should only be used if the extra energy is needed (and be used in full).
The only reason it is so popular is because of the pretty standard shock warrior pvp build. Hammerers need a lot of energy too. Swords used to be quite energy intensive too.
So dreadstats are superiour as long as you don't need the energy.

Agree with Don, 7 energy from Glad set? Pff not gunna help me... Wyvern, Dragon and Platemail all give 90 vs everything and 100 vs phys, glads give 80vs everything, 90 vs phys.
Even better is my Kurzick Sentinal Armor
It gives 100 to EVERYTHING, of course you need a strength build for it to be useful...
