How to farm Razortongue Frothspit w/ N/Me

On request I'm writing this guide to help people farming Razortongue Frothspit.

Ok, this is what we're are going for :



First off here's my skill setup :



1 Spiteful Spirit {e}
2 Reckless Haste
3 Price of Failure
4 Weakness
5 Empathy

Setting yourself up like I did, leave Cavalon to the south.
Left from the portal you can see a group of guards containing 2 melees and 2 priests afaik.

They state an important role in this build as they will heal you.



Follow to the south and you will see Razortongue.

Here is the map.



Now pull regardless if u attract the whole or only him.
Get him back to the guards



and kill his fellowship first.
He will get stuck in the rock.



// or in my case he just runs back to where he came from and gets stuck



So we're done. Have Phun farming him!

Just one observation:

I've found that if any of the Luxon NPCs attack Razortongue then you won't get the drop.

Not true, if you do more dmg than the Guards you will get a drop.
I solo him on my Me/N with a similar build, got the bow on my 4th run

Thnx man. i tryed on warrior i kill him but no luck with the drop.

Time to get my necro out again

I get no drops whenever a guard damages when I'm soloing, even when I do 99% of the kill

Nice trick..... I have to say that this boss/group is an absolute pain in the ass to pull, bow or not. They come so far then simply drop back. Either way though, nice trick for easy farm.

First try got it, i switched out insidious parasite for weakness

i killed him like 50 times now still no drop for me but i die also so now and then. maybe its because the guards hit him also?

Does not matter if the guard hits him. Just that you have to deal more damage than the guards.

I got it on my 4th try, however, I'm very superstitious about the gaurds hitting him. I hold aggro in a place where he's blind and can't fire on me or the guards. That way they won't aggro him.

Also, I pull another random mob to the shrine and kill it. This way I'm not just killing a single mob in a zone which we all know triggers anti-farming code.
