Im W/MO lvl 20. It seems everytime that I go out to farm with a group I end up relying on the monk to heal me over and over to keep me alive. Is this normal? I have droks armor, good shield/weapon.. It's when I get in a group of like 4-5 monsters, say like queen farming from Augry Rock, the monk has to keep me up in health, do most tanks need healing or am I just using the wrong skills? Any help would be appreciated, thanks guys.

Tanking the Queen isn't the best thing to try and do without Monkage anyway, as the Scarabs tend to throw conditions and hexes on you every 1 1/2 seconds...
In other news... Try bringing some defensive stances with you, such as Bonetti's Defense, Defensive Stance, etcetera. Also consider things like Dolyak Signet and "Watch Yourself!" to boost your defense.
Remember, tanking is about grabbing that aggro and holding it until the team can kill the stuff; not necessarily about killing everything in sight.
And yes, even the best of tanks will need a good Monk to back them up on occasion; it all depends on the area and circumstanses.

killer toast
umm that is what the monk tends to do.... but if you want you can bring stances so he doesnt have to heal you as much

Thanks for the replys. I will definatley try out the stances, maybe that would help alot more then relying on the monk everytime. Thanks guys.

It's a team game, ofcourse you're gonna rely on the monk. It may hurt your pride not being able to do everything but that's how it works.

If you can stand still while tanking, Dolyak Signet is a great skill as it costs zero energy or adrenalin, has no cast time (hence cannot be interrupted) and, with a high enough strength, can be kept up most of the time.
