So, for those who have factions, the new storage is comming soon and it was expressed to be for crafting materials only. Now personally i dont keep many crafting materials, there's really not all that often that i need them and what i do have i tend to give away to those that do.
Basically, I'm not upset about this new feature, but why ONLY crafting material storage? Will this include spots for dyes? (prolly not huh?)
These minimal storage upgrades (various stacking improvements) seem strange to me and since ANET swears at the dealings with bot abuse, why limit regulars that like to actually PLAY GW to crafting spots that just don't seem very needed. Yes, it will help, but it's very limiting... Don't you think?
The New Storage to Come, thoughts...

I have lots of materials on my chars, i certainly dont mind.
I feel that Anet is testing new code, as well as player reactions.
Its like dipping your toe into a pool full of sharks.
If they mess up the code and break something, it wont be so bad (unless you lose your ecto!! eek?!!) as opposed to implementing a FULL storage makeover.
As a community, we have to see this as a positive change. We should apply CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. We have to voice our opinions and strive for further improvements.
On that note, some grievances:
1) 250 is NOT enough. Armors cost at least two stacks, and being able to store only 1 stack seems kinda silly.
2) If we cant have bigger stacks, then cancel out the dedicated material storage. I dont think anyone stores 250 elonian leather. But wood, dust, cloth and tanned hide are around 750 on my characters. Not to mention Chitin/Shells thanks to the new Faction armors. The storage should allow ANY materials, not just 250 of each.
3) It should be for Factions/Prophecies, not just faction players. I have a merged account, but it doesnt seem fair to have it for just faction players.
