No, I have no idea what's going on right now. DNS, network problems... something of that nature. It's not the server though so, Rejoice! If it goes down again though, I just wanted to let you all know that I'm aware and working with the server admin.

In the meantime, if you'd still like to chat you are more then welcome to drop by the IRC room:

GWG has ALWAYS been laggy for me. (1/3 pages come up blank)

I dont think he is refering to the lagging, maybe refering to the fact for about a week now pages will randomly not load.

'Factions Nubs' may have opinions that are every bit as valid and well presented as more seasoned players.
My only problem with he site is the appalling search function, it's all great apart from that- it's well moderated, has a good community and great presentation.

i'll type anyway i please anyways yea i was messing around but also had a serious note to it, this place did work fine until the influx of new ppl...and its mainly the new ppl that are bitching about search not working...go figure

lol. So basically, Guru's completely screwed when Ch3 comes out, since there will be even more "nubs" then. In my opinion, the site would run a lot better without certain people postwhoring and posting useless BS just to hear themselves type. Neither age nor postcount mean anything, so let's just post when we have something worthwhile to add, eh? Otherwise, it's just more stress on the already overburdened Guru staff. Besides, bitching about people's bitching won't stop any of the bitching.

Btw - pre-Factions, search was down often. Not as often, no, but still, things weren't always "fine" like you describe.
