Weapons should be bigger IMO (especially unique weapons). Look at some of these weapons from Lineage 2:

To clarify bigger:

I meant meaner looking more muscular weapons. Currently the zodiac weapons are about a pixel thin (They look like a texture with no volume, especially the sword and bow).

While I would like to see more flavored weapons. Anything larger than a fellblade is a bit silly.

Bigger weapons aren't the problem, and Lineage 2 compared to Guild Wars is a joke. Lineage 2 has superior textures and just about everything (Guild Wars has much better gameplay mind you, thats why I play it and not Lineage 2) But yes, Guild Wars is lacking flavor so to speak...

Lineage 2 is a pale comparison, but it has the same point. Just about everything even the low level armors are beautifully crafted. Heres a link. http://www.lineage2.com/Knowledge/item.html Guild Wars could definitly use some more exotic stuff, and less of the generic dull weaponry/armory.

Heres a good example, the texture is beautiful, And the aura makes it look very divine.

The armor is pretty amazing too.. But I think you get the point by now.

Just one more.. <_< >_> Incase the other two soak in.

I agree with NinjaKai, anything bigger then a fellblade, would be entering the realm of anime.

I have to disagree. If you make the weapons bigger, you wind up with a ridiculous, cartoon-y look, not at all in keeping with the flavor GW has expressed so far.

Hammers in general I agree, too many of the good skins are WAY TOO SMALL... although it would be a bit silly to have huge swords although some axes could recieve some size upgrade, more skins is always good, I say there should be no ugly skins, if there are, make em so ugly that it looks cool and fits w/ armors.

Ok, no offense but that last pic is a bit ridiculous. But having cooler weapons would be fun. Comparing the Tyrian weapons to Canthan ones, all the Canthan one are 100 times cooler looking than anything in Tyria.

Ok, I'd have to agree a little with you. I would like bigger weapons, but not too big comparing to WoW or lineage. Well most swords in gw are small in length when my warrior wields them, so i think Anet should boost up the size of swords. Or what Anet can do is enable an option to change the height of your char.

Well I guess just a little bigger. The fell blade isn't that big at all. It's not impressively big and I doubt anyone will complain when Anet actually ADD bigger weapons.

Those look great, I wish Guild Wars had such intricate and clear textures on armour and weapons. They don't have to be bigger, but they could look better than the blurred undetailed textures we get.

simply put: gw's armor and weapon designs on lacking compared to other medieval fantasy games...

They could add an option to scale the size or length of your weapon when you get it customized by a Weaponsmith.

This seems like a plea "I spent 100k+20 ectos on a rare max 15^50 sword, make it big and leet so I can be special please"

I really am thinking of switching over to Lineage (can't play more than one MMO really, too much time absorbed from them). The only thing right now that's keeping me from doing so is lack of income...I need a job.

I Wouldn't suggest that. Lineage II looks great, but you'll never play a game with more grinding than it. Not only that, but you can lose your insanely hard earned equipment any time you die.
It could take you a week to get enouph currency for a sword, then die 2 minutes later and lose it.

Won't suggest it too. Better just looking at picture online.. of if possible, find a server version, and give you self all the nice equipment and best level.

I tried Lineage 2 years ago... and look at me now.. bouncing for paycheck to paycheck in a low pay dead end job. (well... kinda)

So you would rather have a small peniless default looking broad sword than a large exquisite Elderish Long sword with embroidery for your 100k weapon?
