Help a newb / some questions about factions

I have had GW for quite awhile, but havn't played very often due to the fact that I have another MMO (City of heroes/villains) that i usually play. But whenever i feel the need for some Ph47 l3w7 i log into GW and hunt for black dye lol. well anyway, I want to know if I should get factions now, or wait and finish the story for regular GW, or will that take a looong time? if i get Factions can i play an assasin on regular gw if i have both? and do assasins actually rely on stealth? do I get more character slots if i buy factions, can i use the same storage account?

alot of questions I know, but as i said, I am a newb, and have little to no idea of what im talking about. Ty

Here's what I can tell you:

• Get Factions if you want some more PvE content besides what's in the original
• All assassins have to start in the Factions starter area, but you can bring Factions characters to Lion's Arch after a short bit of the game
• The closest thing assassins have to stealth is teleportation
• You get two extra character slots
• Still the same storage account
