i was there when emperror came to place but i couldnt get my mask!
i had 250 orbs in my inventory and i talked to him, i bowed to him, i kneeld, beg, moan, kick, punch... But he didnt give me my mask!!!!
lots of other ppl didnt get it too.
can someone tell me what to do next time?
how can i get my mask?

well if all else fails, there will be an ambassador available for a few days after the festival where you will be able to swap the orbs for masks, so dont stress to much.. if there is a problem with getting it from the emporer, im sure Anet will sort it out asap

you should wait until he reached the storage and started his speech, he wont give any out before. so tell the idiots in the district to stop bodyblocking him so he moves on lol. yeah then, i dont know which command made me get the mask, but i only did /kneel, /bow and /head.

u dont need to do anything just put 250 orbs in your inventory and stand somewhere in shing jea when he is doing his speach, at almost end of speach your orbs turn into a mask. thats it
so dont try beg, bow, kick, punch, or killing him to take mask as drop.

Every 2 hours, he gives mask at arrival not at the end.

Every 2 hours ...... 9, 11, 1, 3, etc on east coast. Adjust according to your time zone.

Thnx guys, guess its just a sit and wait syndrome then. I think I'll just leave my char near the founatin and watch the footy tonight. With any luck I will have a mask at half time.

Gaile has said (and it's on the official site now) that there will be someone around 24/7 for a week to exchange orbs for masks.
