I need something that will complement a 55 monk.

you would have to use a wand, as being a 55 requires you to use the -50hp cesta offhand.

it is recommended to use an item such as a totem axe or rajazan's fervor for the 20% longer enchantment.

Totem also has the +5 energy
Can also get any sword or axe with +5 energy and just mod it with 20% enchanments. Also have a set up with wand if needed.

You can pick up totems for 5k in game usually anytime of day or night one going for sale in LA, Droks or KC.

a perfect jayne's staff

fire dmg: 11-22 (req . 9devine favor)
halve casting of protection prayers spells ( 20%)
halves skill recharge of protection payer spells (20%)
enchantmenst last 20% longer
health +30

Jayne's staff so its 2 hand, and is has +30 health so will not be able to use the -50 offhand for the 55 monk.

Unless you die would put you at 135 life.
