yes, a simple solution to storage problem
most ppl got the same upgrade from weapons, such as a sword pommel of enchanting(20%). But they are not stackable, so it's a problem to keep useful upgrades.
Just make it stackable, I know it won't affect existed ones, it's ok.

Eaither ANET should add a section to storage for upgrades like they promised to do for crafting materiels, or they should add an upgrade trader. Probably the trader so as to benifit everyone, not just the people who farm enough to have a stash of them.

The first problem is this is pretty unhelpfull if you have a 17% and a 18% mod, they cant stack as they are not the same, so its really only usefull for duplicate mods, and if you have 2x of the exact same mod.

Use one or sell it.

And some of those you mentioned do have variables, i.e insightfull +4, or defense +4 ect ect.

And again why would anyone need 2x zealos ect mods, use one or sell it.

yeah because its unlikely for a common player to get two identical mods, its only going to benefit farmers.

I dont farm on any large scale and I have a 2nd account with 2 chars filled completely with items. Everyone one of my chars has about 2-3 sets of armor, 2-3+ sets of weapons, + collector helms equipment etc etc

Things add up over time, and we dont ALL want to run around for many hours per day trying to sell something. Alot of ppl too also find good mods items etc and hold onto them until they have a friend or guildy ask around for that item.

Although I have multiple upgrades with the same stats (but only after 2 years), I will not support this.
Why? because it means people that farm all day will jsut have more incentive to farm...

The only reason why (I have) multiple upgrades is when you cannot sell them.
