Are Armor bonuses global?

i.e. +15 while weapon-spell and you have it on chest.

now you have
1) a whole +15 armor
OR
2) +15 only when hitted on chest?

Can someone make a test?
we should also try +10 while holding item and +3x5 while control spirit.

I ask it because i know mesmer armor bonuses are global, so there is the possibility for our Rt also!

As far as I can remember, it is not global. Otherwise you'll endup with a global armor of:

60 AL on all parts of your body (base).
+15 if control of 1 spirit
+15 if control of 2 spirit
+15 if control of 3 spirit

Take that globally (on 2 pieces of armor).

control 3 spirits = 60 + 15+15+15 + 15+15+15 = 150 global. Too much. Its on each piece only.

I read somewhere that in factions, armors like these are semi-global in that you get +10AL in the local area and +5AL Global when the specifcations are met.

I may have misread though.
