Yeah, I was shocked to find I could kill those big cows with flame trap(not on purpose) I was trying to trap a mantid lvl 0, and the cow walked by, blam killed it.
A little life bar poped up over its head, it went "mooo" and fell over, sat for a bit then disapeared.
I thought it was real funny, you cant target them at all, and they dont turn aggro when you trap them. Anyway, I'm sure someone will be sick enough to try this(my wife was pissed I was killing these cows)(lol)...maybe post a screenie..........out

You can also do it with Balthazar's aura and zealot's fire too so I'd imagine it would work for any skill that deals dmg indirectly.

Anyone up for some cow tipping?

The problem is that you can't target them directly, for some reason. As if Anet didn't want us to hurt them. Maybe they are holy

I think there is some secret connection to the cow level from Diablo.

I kill them by finding a Mantrid close to a cow and then I do chain lightening :O

This is pretty sweet. It would be neato if Anet added in random animals like this (in places no one would really check without telling anying) and have them drop weird weird weapons. They could move, too. One day they could be in the falls, one day they could be in Haiju Lagoon.

you can kill them in many ways;

wait for a mantid to come close, cast meteor shower on the mantid, cow is adjacent, *grins* or any other aoe spells where you target the mandits with a cow nearby :P really fun and they seem to be like level 5-7 =o
