*Bow Types

I know there are five different classes of bows (Longbow, Flatbow, Horn Bow, Recurve Bow & Short Bow) but Im not sure how they differ. If somebody could please explain each bow I would really appreciate it. Or if you know a thread that already has them explained, could you please post it here?
