Which Daggers?

After reading the 'Soloing Bosses With An Assassin' thread, I decided to go try and farm some Daggers of Xuekao. After about 6 or 7 tries I got them. Now my question is, which daggers should I use?? Should I use Xuekao or Shreader's? Here's my build, forgot who posted it.

may i ask how you got him alone? But not shreaders...because they are +15% damage whiled target is hexed...and you have no hexes....so Xuekao ftw

Make your own daggers. Find clean max dmg with the skin you want. And purchase or salvage the upgrades.

What i did was just use daggers that i found from drops and chests. then waited to get the green end of game daggers. but that is just me.

For example lets say you find Zealous Oni Daggers. You can use an expert salvage kit to try to salvage out the zealous dagger tang. You may get it or you may not. That is one way.

I craft my dagger, the end game Sai the give extra 5 energy. with zealous tang and fortitude handle, I have plenty of energy to give a lot of combo

I build my weapons, right now I'm working on a pair of 15^50 Zealous Butterfly Knives of Defense

90 AL while attacking FTW

LOL yanman shameless plug. Oh and I have actually killed xuekao A LONE.. oh and AJ next time you out and kill Xuekao, use a signet of capture and cap Assassin's Promise.

He's easy to solo with a good 55 build k.
There's ways to make it so the Am Fah necromancer doesnt show his ugly face or his barbed signet

End of game ceremonial daggers and Chkkr's Pincers.

I really wanna get a pair of those Ceremonial Daggers... Chkkr's Pincers would be nice but I would like to be A/Mo for that with Watchful Spirit so that I wouldn't need to swap weapons for combos.

i'd go with Chkkr's Pincers instead of Ceremonial Daggers if you can't have both... just cause' Chkkr's Pincers deal Slashing Damage which is least defended against

I'm a long way from getting ceremonial daggers. My Monk chose the Aegis so I could sell it. I still have it and would gladly trade it for some ceremonial daggers...(hint...hint).
I have Kenshi's Butterfly daggers. They're okay but you can do better. The one I use the most though is a Kaineng sai with a zealous tang and a +6 armour against elemental attacks. I take a lot of abuse sometimes from that sort of damage. I thought it would help and it seems to be doing just that. Total cost for everything was about 10,700 k. Pretty decent price for a max damage 'sin' weapon. I like it.
