Does that make Red Bean Cakes useful?

And isn't Rice Wine worthless?

Do not forget Droks guys. When i farm trolls form there, I hate to have to run all the way to the merchant and other traders if I don't spawn right beside them....

I found that the rice wine had a long effect and I got drunk faster.

Why go back to Droks? When I farm just about anywhere.. I usually go to Amnoon Oasis when full. It's usually pretty empty and everything you need in one small circle. Then I port back to the town nearest my farming spot and run back outside for the next round.

What traders do you go to besides the merchant anyways? When I used to farm trolls I'd just sell to the armor guy that I spawn right next to. You can sell anything to him at the same price the merchant would buy it. The only time I went to the real merchant would be after I ran out of ID kits every once in a while or I went to storage when I got full on keeper items.

Like that they implemented them.

Not only does it stop people ripping others off trying to sell the item for 800g, it also means you can get them at anytime you like

I have a massive 170 stock pile of Red Bean and Rice Wine for my drunk title, and also so I can now run quicker in them bigger towns like K-Centre.

Rice Wine is pretty pointless... but the Red Bean cakes are great, and if you think they suck then your not using them well

Anyone want to use them as another currency standard similar to ectos? Each stack is worth 50k, and there is a lot of excess supply out there, and essentially no use for these items since there are cheaper alternative for the rice wine, and bean cake is not worth using.

I think I read somewhere that ale and wine have the same overall drunk time, I forsee Tyrian players buying stacks of ale and selling for 300g ea in KC...
Also, you did this to stop another candy cane situation right Anet? So why not put CC's at Droks merchants?

Why would anyone pay 1k for any of the gag items from halloween? I don't know either.... but it happened for a bit after halloween. Some people were selling unopened festival prizes in LA D1 before the merchants sold wine and cakes for 800g ea... Who would pay that much for an unopened festival prize? If they (Anet) hadn't made the items available from the merchants, do you think players would be selling them for a fair price? The items were a good addition to the merchants, I mean, Canthans need to get drunk too right? I was just hoping, as someone said earlier in a "tongue in cheek" kind of way, that if we could have these things at the merchant then.....

Ghost in a Box - death of the ghost triggers soul reaping, which can provide up to 16 energy to a necromancer. Not a bad use.

Witches Brew/Absinthe - really only worth about 100g each, for the ability to get drunk.

The only item I can't see buying was the squash serum...
