The armors don't look different, it's only the stats that are different. Since we don't know what stats you'd prefer for your character it's up to you to make that choice

well im thinking either Male Mesmer, Male Ele, Male Ranger, or Female Ranger please help me decide.

my vote is for male ele. i think its the second coolest next to monk fow armor

from looking at all the fow armours... i reckon the rangers fow armours look the best... since all my chars are female i would get armour for the female ranger.

Just don't do what I did and get it for the character youre having a temporary fling with. My female necro has FoW and is virtually never used. While my male warrior whom I've spent about 50% of my GW time (2,900 hours total), and still play the most on is in crappy 15k gladiators.
