As of 7 minutes ago me and my entire team at Aspenwood American got dropped from the game. I haven't been able to log on since.

The thought that someone else got droped makes me relived, but this also pisses me off... this should not really be an issue, I hope they let us back on soon.

Yeah its said its an err058 and the client can't connect to any servers. It's not an internet issue because im here posting. Maybe this has something to do with the mass permabands for no reason, screwups at dragon festival, and whatnot. Don't get me wrong, I like guild wars but Dragon Festival was a complete mess. I am really losing my patience with these issues... Disappearing pets, friends getting permanant bans without warnings... the entire finale at dragon festival turning into a mass glitch fest.
They better fix this and fast.

Most people weren't dropped, so your particular server just got screwed. :\

i was on vent talking with my guildies. me and one other person got dropped at the same moment. couldn't log in for, oh, ten or more minutes? not such a big deal in the grand scheme of things. probably exactly what it said it was. a routing issue.

Servers are not 100% stable. Get used to it. At this moment my very own forum is down and there is nothing I can do. These things happen. Maybe GW was just taking festival items away, or maybe the server overheated. Who knows.

Same here...I was playing on my ranger capping Punishing shot.
Just when i capped it i got dissconnected.My internet connection is fine.

But yes these things happen more often. Sometimes servers just give up.
For the abnning incedent. I have no clue what is going on but i am sure it will be fixed. Patience my fellow GW addicts patience.

Here are some basic steps you can take to help us track down server problems.

- Read support article 2744 from http://support.plaync.com. (Search for 2744)
- Run the NetInfo tool. This is publicly available from ftp://ftp.guildwars.com/diag. This should generate a text file with the results.
- Make note of any error codes that you recieve, as well as any ip addresses that are displayed with the errors. Guild errors may have a different prefix, so include the entire string, such as "Code=007" or "Error=GR-2"
- If the problem seems to be specific to characters or maps, please include the names and/or districts in your report.
