troll farming vs. other farming

which is more efficient?
at my pace im getting about 3k per 5 runs on trolls from gold and drops aside the rare gold drop (lil under 30 mins to fill up inv) minus the money from exchanging troll tusks from collectors and the keys
how does that compare to hydra/minotaur farming?
ive seen a couple people say that hydra farming takes a while to fight them and completely clear them all out, but that the total profit is worth it, so any real answers for this? (asking this from a w/ point of view, just so you dont get mixed up with a 55 necro/monk)

Farm both. Farm other things as well. Drop decay is all too real and farming just one thing will bring it about very quick. For two days when I first started 55ing the trolls were gods to me and gave me so many treats, after that it began getting stale. You slow down the stagmentation and over time can reverse it by doing other things. When I 55ed I would farm 4-5 different things. I'd farm one spot twice, switch, farm another, switch, and go in a circle. Try it yourself. it should go well for you.

Hydras in desert - 3-5k per run 30-45 minutes, and a full inventory of blues, purples and the occasional golds.
And as TheMosesPHD stated it's always good to do more than one area.

God, farming, such a hard topic, my friend and I farmed trolls and hydras, I found the hydras more money making, but the trolls more fun. WARG, I wish I could farm maself but the problems is, I only get two hours on the net daily..
