Antifarming code-who?what?huh?Where?

Whas up with this whole antyfarming code?When i was farming the Stonereaper 2 days ago i got a message sayin that if i farm to many times in 1 area the monsters re gonna run outta loot I bet this si the antifarmer code coz i wasnt able to get my Stonereaper ever since!I did 20 runs and still no Stonereaper What do i do to get this code off?How long is this code active?

The code is active until you do some general questing or monster killing. I have found if I get the code to go do a mission or quest and than return to my favorite farming spot. Sometimes I just find an early game zone or two and clean them out to practice kiting and other skills as well.

This is simply a case of the few ruining everything for the many. This is in place because of bots that would kill a few monsters, port to town and sell drops, repeat until they have 100k.

My personal general rule of thumb is no more than 5 runs at point A, then go to point B for 5, point C for 5, then back to A. I have never seen the popup.

it is an anti bot code.

act like a bot long enough and they cut off your supply.

rotate your crops farmer or suffer crop failure.

it takes work to trigger that message and the second one a bit later saying all out

Everythings fine and dandy :/ This sucks badly!I didnt know its an anty bot code!Heh,its brilliant I guess ill do a story mission and go back to farm the Stonereaper.Does this code act only on the char that i farmed with and which got the warning or on all of my chars?Is this code active whenever i try farming?I got "coded" when i was farming Craw Stonereaper.Then i went to farm Arrassh Mountainlub but after 10 runs i couldnt get his green.Is the code also at the place where i farm Arraassh or only in the place where i farm Craw Stonereaper?

IMO ANet want's you play the game and not spend your time farming all day long. they don't care if you do but "suggest" you just keep playing

i think it's more like a flag and yes to ack like a bot they will ban you. but your not a bot so your safe.

do a misson... farm for sunreaches sheild (if it's worth somting anymore) .. oh ya.. dont' farm and do some quest/fow/uw/tombs/elite misson/RA/etc.....

beats me.... don't think it's time (but hay just check out ER for all the bots who stick around for a few hours). think it's more like a check list to see where you been and what you been doing. then once you done a few things your "code" would be set to zero (reset).

**someting to add (sorry can't find the post but i'll try later) someone here on guru said they did missons and caped a few skills and swears they have the code on them and it won't turn off..... dont' know what to say to that. but these are my suggestions....

Its kinda unfair to ban a dude like me coz they think im a bot :/ Well,i dont farm all day long.I dont even play all day long so i guess they cant touch me.Ill try doing some missions and hope the code wears of :/

This has been in effect for months now. I got that pop up message while farming Elona Reach. It had to be 2+ months ago. My guess is they are "tweaking" the parameters for displaying the message. I probably did the bulls 10-15 times and got the message. The loot drops in value to pretty much minimum standards until you do something else for a while.
I think it's a great idea to limit constant farming but it also sucks for people who are trying to obtain a green item. You'd have to basically kill the same boss over and over to get it to drop.

I do farm the same boss multiple times.Gotta get the green you know and they dont always drop it.I wish they would tell ya the code wore off :/

The mission trick seems not to work!I did the mission in Northern Wall in Tyria.I tried to do Boreas Seabed and Ring of Fire missions but wasnt able to do them :/ Then i farmed Craw Stonereap 10 times and i didint get any green :/ Does the code occur on the char who was cought farming or on the whole account?Adn second:does the code stop drops from the boss u farmed or all boss drops?I gotta ditch farming coz of some @#$!#$@#%^&* chinese!!It jus AINT fair!They think im a bot and now im not able to farm anything anywhere Does any1 have a 100% success idea to beat the code?

You might just have been unlucky with your last few runs, however, try running completely through a few of the low level areas in Tyria from the exit of a town to (and through) the next portal. Do this for a couple of areas and it should clear your farming penalty if it is still in place.

1 dont do the same thing 10-20 times in a row.
if what you are after doesnt drop do something else for an hour or so.

2 clear out the whole area periodically especially the mobs that give low value junk

3 vary what you do in the zone

4 do this and you will not even notice the bot stop

5 have several spots to farm and rotate your crops so it doesnt happen again

when it wears off is a guess but usually not longer than a day

Read the actual message that pops up. It warns you to stop entering an area and only killing a few things over and over. It's not like they flag your char with "BOT ALERT! BOT ALERT!". They simple decrease drops, and value of drops until you do something else for a while. I usually just go farm another area 10 times....or get this....ACTUALLY PLAY A MISSION . Afterwards I return to farming what I really want and drops are back to normal.
You're not plagued with a anit-botting code that prevents all drops from all areas. READ what the game message tells you.
And just because you farmed a boss 10 times and didn't get a green doesn't mean you have anti-botting code on. If that's all it took to get a green, everyone in the game would have all of them.

back when sskai's sword was 50k and i was farmin them id get the code, log off, log back in, go do a run, get a green, get coded, rinse, repeat.

loggin on and off gets rid of the code and its like 100000000 times faster then "goin and questing"

Because logging out and back in doesn't work when i'm farming.
Drops are still crap and lower in value til i do something else for a while.

because it works in the meany times i've done it. never tired to log off and back on to see if helps kick the code... hum...

I asked this 3 times eralier:is the code active only in the place where i activated it?OR isi it active for a peroid of time EVERYWHER where i try to farm?
As for drops-i farmed Arrassh Mountainclub many times yesterday and still didint get any good items,not to mantion greens!

If you get the code,is it helpful to change ur char and for example 1alliance battle to beat the code?

FINALLY i wa able to famr normally!I managed to rip of The Stonereaper once again from Craw Stonereaper And im happy as hell!Still,Arrassh is a cheapskate and wont drop his piec of junk shiled

I got a message sayin that the dude i was farming ran out of loot.The game suggested doin some missions.Do i gotta do the missions with the char i was farming or can i do some missions with another char(not the one who i was farming with)?
