Antifarming code-who?what?huh?Where?

is this a fresh new just happened message or the original one fron the first post you are refering to?

Its a fresh message.The first one i got suggested that a boss may run out of drops if i farm him too often.The second one stated that the boss ran out of loot :/ Im repeating this question once more:i got the message while farming with my warrior.If i do some missions and quests with me ele will the anti code reset on my warrior or do i have to do some questing with my warrior to reset the code?

1. I do not beleive rascsim is tolerated in these forums
2. Anet doesn't want people farming hence the codes tehy implemented
3. if you really farmed that much i'm pretty sure you could probably purchase your green

I like this post a lot... Farmers are not (and have never ever been) a problem. Farmers are just people who play the game how they want to play it... the digital version of getting rich through hard work one could say. It would be a retarded undertaking (and a fruitless one at that) to ebay gold or items gained through manual farming. So yes, I like the idea of rotating from one farming spot to another. Not just cuz it's safer, but also because it makes it more realistic and immersive

Yet they impliment things like FoW armor that would require hours of countless farming to get. And yes, yes, I know, you don't need FoW armor. Its been said a thousand times. It doesn't change the fact that its expensive and would only be available through some uncanny luck or massive farming amounts.

Personally, I think they should just do away with this and let people play how they want to play. The bot farmers are going to be up on crop rotation and do their best to maximize profits anyway. All this is really doing is punishing thoes who really don't pay close attention to game mechanics, not the big time bot farmers who'd hurt the economy.

If memory serves Gaile actually said that ANet don't have anything against farming. All the nerfs they do in areas are to stop bots or problems with the program from being exploited.

And also, just go to a diff area to avoid it. The farm trigger doesnt seem to affect people who farm outside areas because I farmed for about 30 times in a row and it didnt do anything, I infact got a nice gold celestial after a while

The first message i got said that the monsters may run out of loot if i farm em too much.This message didint state that monsters are out of stuff!The second message clearly stated that the monsters in the area i was farming in ran out of loot and i should do sumthin else like a mission or quest.

yes there is as i have personally gotten it.

i was farming exp from a super easy spot for a level and the merchant was too far away to zone and come back.

i filled my inventory then only picked up blues and purples, than only purples then just left everything on the ground.

i still got the exp which was what i wanted so wtf

as i said you have to work like a bot to get it

I love that code bcuz they are doing things to get those ppl that i hate, the ppl that cant just play the damn game. i mean other ppl work hard one day someone could find a green worth 50k and they go to sell it but then all of a suddin its worth 15k bcuz some fing jackazzes go along and cant play the game fair..... sry for getting so pissed and for cussing but it just sets me over the edge bcuz the fing hackers and SOBs

Ramy,ur partially right!I got nothing against high prices of greens coz thats why i wanna farm em!Id like to make some cash!Farming is not jus exploiting some stupid boss but thin bout how much time it takes a dude to figure out how to kill a boss or clear the farming area?The dude who made the guide for Stonereaper is a genius coz Stonereaper kills himself in second!Brilliant!Why shouldnt ppl profit from farming?As for the ppl who dont play hard-hang em on a tree!!It pisses me as well that they use bots for it!Why dont they farm 24/7personally if they want all that cash :/ Dudes like those make the game less fun

Don't farm then, Einstein. You should have waited a while before doing that area again, at least.

Here are what the two messages look like, taken from screen shots. I went farming for the message. The first came after about 10 times killing the same boss (not killing anything else but the boss), and the second came after about 10 more times. I got the green about 2 kills before the second message though.

Just take the character you've been farming like a mofo with and do something else. Farm a different boss. Take a long walk on the beach. Do a mission, Kill some grawl. Just find something else to do ingame besides the same boring repetetive run over and over

I've never gotten this message, my attention span gives out long before antifarming code crops up.

Like Loviatar said its an anti-bot code. Gaile Gray herself has said ANet has no problem with farming. Its just that they don't want people cheating the game with bots.

I have to step in here. They put FOW armour in with the idea that it would take a long time to get with NORMAL play. They didn't expect people to farm for it, thats stupid.
