Stuck in Dragon Arena

Characters that were last left in Dragon Arena still spawn to it when loading now. Unfortunately, the Guide from there no longer talks to you to escort you back to the Monestary.

While this isn't a problem for most people, I was just in there with someone who claimed he had nothing on his map screen to zone. That is understandable if his character had never left Shing Jae Island to the mainland of Cantha. You do not get the "Travel" ship until Keineng, so it would not appear. He also says he did not see the Zaishen missions in the Battle Islands.

Has anyone else experienced this or got ideas about it? Hopefully Anet will automatically bump people who are in the Dragon Arena still back to the Monestary to prevent his problem in the future. (And hopefully he does, as I suggested, contact support.)

Map to Guild Hall. Maybe it's a sporadic glitch because I could have sworn I left my Necromancer there and she's now in the monastery.

The person claims he was a new account, and thus wouldn't have a guild hall. Heh.

Tell him to get a guest invitation to a guild hall.

then easily that guy ask to join a guild who have it, duh! and uses the gh to travel out and with the leave guildhall button then he should arrive at the monestary again

I'm pretty sure that you can use the map to get to the battle islands. He should be able to map to the Isle of the Nameless without having to join a guild and waisting 100g.

Mapping to GuildHall does solve the problem , so people without guilds should try getting a guild guest invite to get out.

Isle of the nameless you can not travel to i believe, you can travel to temple of balthazar ,but players you are in the dragon arena are pve characters so they would only have that on theyr map if they have traveled there with the boat, that isnt there until lions arch or kaineng center.

If your character has not been to random arena or team arena before,you will not have those on your map either so still stuck.

I dont want to be forced to leave as i want to enjoy my time there, i have my necro "stuck" there (yes i have a guild with hall) just make the arena open again please , make it so you can leave but still come back, its so fun

Bring up your guild menu, hit the button to return to guildhall (if you have one) find a friend in your friends lista nd if they are not a guild member, spend the 100 guild to give them a guest invite, group with them (them as leader) and have them transport both of you to a mission / outpost you've already visited. If you do not have a guild, again find a friend in your friends list and have them guest you, repeat the same steps from guildhall arrival.

Dont even need second part, because apparently "leave guild hall" in this situation, takes you to Monastry.
