Storage for collector items
ump
We know there is going to be increased storage for crafting material for 1 stack of each type. It can only be assumed that this method was used rather than a more open-ended storage to conserve on disk space. Therefore, why not continue to go this route and add storage for collector items so you can have 1 stack for each collector item. I, for one, have 1 character dedicated to store all collector items for Tyria (post-jungle) and have 1 character dedicated to store all collector items for Cantha. Being able to put all this in extra storage would save me and others a lot of room.

When they first announced this extra storage, I thought that would be the case. I remember someone saying something about kappa shells. I guess I was mistaken.

There is many more collectors items than crafting materials...and holiday items are worth storing.
How long do you hold collectors' items before you cash in? Unless you are farming them, there is no point in havign them unless saving for a collector weapon/offhand/shield.

If anything there should just be a general storage increase, an increase for collectors items would be useless to most people (as opposed to the forthcoming material storage which makes sense.)

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I do not farm. I save all collector items that net me max items. Examples from Prophecy include everything from the Crystal Desert and Southern Shiverpeaks as well as some stuff from Maguuma Jungle (because I can get +15/-1 wands from there). This way, when I have a new character, or even an old character who doesn't have a specific collector weapon/armor, I don't need to farm those items. Maybe because I don't farm, collectors are a cheaper option for me than to go buy a green or gold weapon.

ump, your solution is to trade the collector items in for what you need.
