!!Question About 15k Tormentors!!

Just had someone refuse to believe me about it, so ill post it here.

this is for everyone that has been around for a while. back before the tormentor 15k was updated (like all the other non updated 15k armor) you could still buy it for 15k from the armor traders right? im already positive about the answer to this, cuz im sure some of you remember, back last august i posted up my ENTIRE 15k armor set of all 25 sets, and this was before the tormentors was updated.

EDIT: also, i got a kuunavang as a birthday gift, and the same person that disagrees with my armor issue say that i cant unless i got collectors edition. is that tru or not?

You could buy Tormentors for 15kbfore the update, and it looked just like the 1.5k version. When the update hit the armour skin changed on both new armours and existing ones to match the new 15k Tormentors template.

You cannot get Kuunavang as a birthday gift, its is exclusive to the Factions Collectors Edition.

What he said. And that is where alot of the frustration came from over the 15k Tormentors since what you did was pay 10x the amount of gold (plus the expensive materials) for something that could be obtained cheaply at Droks. So yeah, you could buy the crappy skin for 15k.

As for your other question, I cannot positively answer this, but my instinct is saying "No" you can't get it because that doesn't seem like something Anet would do since the dragon was an apology gift. However, if you say you've gotten one from a normal BD present, why are you asking at all? There must be some doubt to even ask

to tell u the truth, i ask only because the person that doesnt believe me wont until i post it up here and get a response. ive played since beta, but went on an EXTENDED break (like 10 months), and now i came back with all my chars with gifts, or about to get em. but ppl dont seem to believe that i actually got it or something because i havent been playing the whole time. wish other ppl could see ur age when u do the /age thing... 14 months and bout 2000 hours on my main account, but ppl seem to think im a noob (with 25 sets of 15k and a fow set...) just because ive been away for so long and dont know about all the new stuff.

Already answered on both fronts...but just a reminder, even if you did buy the old TOrmentors 15k - It LOOKS like the new 15k Tormentors anyway, because it was a global skin change and even existing sets were effected.

Also Kuunavang is a collector's exclusive, or is supposed to be.

Rice, if you don't know every single thing about both campaigns, you're immediately a noob. That's just how the world works today.

That doesn't matter. As soon as your character hits 12 months, you get a present. Doesn't matter if you play this character for 2 minutes in the last 12 months or 8760 hours in the last 12 months. However you still can't get a Kuni as a birthday gift. If you bought the factions collector edition, you automatically get one (or might need to enter a code to get one). Factions exclusive as stated by others.
