which is better- luxon or kurzick armour? for monk

i don't know which armour is better- by status
it might be the same, but i dunno

It boils down toy our personal preference Zeon. I currently have 1.5k Kurzick coz I don't like the Luxon sets. Just seems too odd for me.

Saving up for 15k now. Just have a look around or even ask in one of the bigger towns to see what each looks like and make your decision then.

I'm using a mix of the Kurzick 1.5k top and the rest Luxon 1.5k. It looks very nice, as I don't really like the Kurzick pants (they look too big) and don't like the Kurzick 15k top much either (looks too posh).

But yeah, personal preference

For stats? don't they have the same? There is no 'better' armour of they have the same stats!

I like 15K Kurzick better then all other Luxon and Kurzicks sets for both male an female. I still prefer FoW though

i thought i loved 15k kurz, but 1.5k kurz is actually better looking and cheaper ;/ luxon isnt that bad...if you cant decide, just buy all. (<is currently at 6 sets of armors, and more to come >.<)

i went to this site with all these pics of the armour- in my opinion- the luxon 15k looks better by a bit but i might try out both to see how it looks on my char

i depends on the character you make cuz some armor and some characters dont fit in either faction

that doesn't make any sense to me...

If you don't have the money, stick to Droknars/Kaineng armor because it's the cheapest. If you have the money, go with what you think looks the best. Statistically, it's all the same. More information can be found at http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Monk_armor.

fow is the best looking but i'll never have $$ for it

Personally, I use the 1.5k + 15k kurzick. I should be getting another set of 1.5k too soon.

I have a rather important question concerning obtaining the armors... If I have donated Luxxon Faction to my guild, can I buy Kurzick 1.5k armor/get into Kurzick zones if I still have more Kurzick Faction than Luxxon?

armor truley is a love it or hate it feeling. i mix match almost all my armor, so it depends on what u like. anyway, i just finished getting my luxon 15k pants, so i thought i'd show u what they look like

I like the way that looks Serpico. If I have a male monk, I would probably copy that mix. However, my monk is a female and I love the look of the 15K Kurzick. I actually became a healing monk just do quest all the way up to Vasburg and bought my monk a set of the 15K. Now I am satisfied.

Female monk running:

15k luxon handwraps
15k Wanderers chest and leggings
15k Canthan sandals

Basically went through all the screen shots I could find of monk armor, used photoshop to make the "perf" look and then went out and bought it. I'm a happy camper. Course now I have to figure out my dye scheme!

I prefer the 15k Canthan dyed sage green...
