don't do any quests on the starter island and farm animals before the first mission till they don't give you anything anymore. When they stop giving exp, do all the secondary class missions and then do the first mission.
Get to the next part of the island and farm some yeti, be careful around the tengu as they tend to swarm.
By the time the yeti stop giving you exp you should be able to do the rest of the quests on the island and level the rest of the way. If you need to farm the weird dragon things and they should get you the rest of the way.

1,337,500 - 160,000 = 1,177,500 exp needed
Without using scrolls, you get 168? exp per troll
1,177,500 / 168 = (rounded) 7,009 trolls to kill
On average theres 10 trolls per run
7,009 / 10 = (Rounded) 701 runs
If your paying 1k/run
701 x 1,000 = 701,000
So if my calculations are correct, without runes it will cost you 701k and lots of time.
