Non-maxed Gold FOW item

Hi, recently l found a non-max gold shadow bow, isn't that weird? Cause l've never seen non max things that are gold and in FOW. Give me your opinions on wether its bad luck or good luck in finding this item.

Bad luck I never find non max golds down there, pretty odd.

You'll sometimes get crappy stuff as low as 14-27 gold bows down there. I've gotten 2-3 of those on my spider runs.

Yep. Happens all over Cantha to. Even in the high level areas. So friggin' annoying. It's probably thanks to the same guy/girl who thought staves with bonuses from 3 different professions was a good idea.

I mean, what do you do with that kind of crap?

heh that reminds of my a run I did one time, my team mate got loads of similiar items and all I could hear was his cursing, moaning and whining on team speak :P

worst i had was a req 13 fire
insightful +5 fire staff of curses (20%)
halves casting time of restoration magivc 17%
halves recharge itme of prot prayers 20%

so that woudl be 4 different professions youd need to get everything out of that :O

also really annoying when you get decent inherent mods on not so decent weapons (like the 10/10 staff i got, which was only +8 energy )

I had a req 11 blood, 20% Cast domination, 20% recharge air. now what build uses that

Not really related, but the other day an almost max gold dagger (6-15) with two mods dropped for me in the factions starting area.

I thought that was pretty weird.

I salvaged it and got a +5 amor from it.

Well, reqs of staff don't matter as much, and I've seen Mesmers run Domination/Air in observer mode all the time.

Kinda like majoho, I remember that very soon after release I had a purple max damage axe with 15^50 drop for me in Nolani.
This was also around the time that I capped Skull Crack from the Giant Herder boss that used to be in the Northern Shiverpeaks. That was ace finding a level 28 so early on

I wish they had more stuff like that early on, pre-desert. It would give veteran players a reason to go back besides mapping.

Well with my bad luck it happens quite a lot in a few high level areas but usually FOW gives me max stuff

and it had +19% vs charr -_-

you guys think you got it bad, look at this:

+5 energy >50%
+20% chance recharge of blood magic skills

it's hard enough to sell max items, nonmax items go directly to the merchant, every time.

i feel sorry for the person who found the 15-21 req 11 15>50 crystalline sword. seen it sell for 800k ish if max would be worth like 6 million O.o
