what do they mean when it says....

so ive noticed skills have said things like
"adjacent foes", or "near by foes", or "targets within range" and so on

correct me if it doesnt say this and i just need to stop playing guild wars at 3 in the morning when im half asleep but how can you tell the different distances?

i under adjacent foes are like within melee range and im assuming within range targets are anything within casting range or the aggro bubble

again this might be a pointless question and the only answer is sleep or caffeene but still...

Use the boat on your map and go to "Great Temple of Balthazar". From there, go through the portal to "Isle of the Nameless." In here you will find an area that shows you the different distances, and even practice with those skills.
