No Real ''Team Farming places in Faction''?

i have been thinking there arent that many places att all in Faction where you actualy build a team go out fight badies and have chance of geting green's
i guees i miss the thing's prohecis had like SF,GF,Tomb's, and such
in Faction it' seem's so empty all we really gott is those elite mission's but that can get old allso so why havent there been any real farm place's like in propheci's i know every other boss can drop green but you never se anyone saying Need ppl for xxxxxx farming why is that?...
it's not the item's itself it's just that a bit more team building whould be nice..

I completely agree with you. So far, the only area I have seen people form a group to farm is in Senji's Corner to get Ghial's staff. Even then, the staff rarely drops and it can be farmed solo if you know what youre doing.
They will probably add some farming places sometime soon though...

Remember the festival? Probably releasing something like TopK

^add kaolin farming to that, but besides..most is solo O.o

Yeah I think the festival was a bit of a giveaway to tomb of primeval kings style area for cantha! I do hope it's different to tyria though angled to slightly more balanced team. Of course leave normal tombs as it is.

I see a lot of people farming for faction.
Most of the farming for greens are done solo or 2-3 man teams.

The elite missions are your best bet for what you are looking for. Try and sit through a team building that takes almost an hour to set up.
You say it can get old, but doesn't SF, tombs, GF get old after awhile?

Yes it can get old but all we have in Faction is 2 Elite mission's now don't that get old much faster?
in prophecis you had a wide variety of choice's in faction you don't have more then 2 Elite mission's.
And yes i have been to the Deep several times,went last night and yes a built my own team took about 1h to set everything up,the fact still remain's that Faction still have lesser''Team Farming place's''

yes, u dont farm them with the whole team, but u dont farm for kaolin with 8 people either, do u(i dont)?

SF,GF,Tomb's UW/FoW All Real Farming place's pretty much nothing ellse Faction you have Elite mission which is All farming and when you go to these place's you expect ppl looking to do the same thing which is building a team then go farm which in faction almost no one is looking for a team tp farm i have only seen ppl wanting help for Sskai's farming and kaolin but othet then that it's not much att all...and some of these farm areas wher green's may drop some of the out post are pretty much empty all the time...

I see a bunch of farming group forming for greens, problem is its already turned into the same ppl wanted. War tank, monk, necro ss, ele "super nuker". Maybe another or smaller or some combo like monk monk war. Just a few guys using the same builds as propheices. So if you had trouble with farming groups in chap1, you may have same probs in chap2

There's team farming for celestials in Nahpui. While not greens it is the same type of thing, forming teams for a purpose other than missions and quests. Plus with the chests everyone can get an item rather than 1 green dropping for 1 person.

Besides, look at the big picture, if you have both then Factions has added more options to the overall GW game and all those Prophecies places you listed are still around to visit when you get bored with Factions farming.

Obviously, if it's the most effective build then that's what's going to be used. People in HoH don't just use some random build, do they? They use what's going to work, and work well. The 'cookie cutter' builds do that, even if some people don't like them. I agree that there's not enough team farming places in Cantha though.

And allso in Faction if you now farm for green's it's alwayss 1green you hunt for not like in SF where can get several diffrent weapon's,and no i didn't have any problemms in Prophecis finding ppl although i have troubble finding that do any farming in faction not that that i can't get into party's just that no one build's one and when you try to build one ppl aren't that fond of joining you..

I've team farmed the following places:

Mostrov Trail
Eternal Grove
Sunjiang District

The big problem is that there are a lot of bosses in Cantha that you can easily solo farm. This leads most people to think that all places should be solo farmed. Many people neglect to realize that a 2-man team is often more than twice as fast at farming than a solo farmer. This type of thing has to be considered because you're really trying to maximize your greens/hour.

the only real team farming I've done is just for mapping/capping/ chests at the same time. I just two man with my friend with builds we made and we change our builds for the different places slightly but some of the harder places need a 3rd

Yeah that's probaly one of the reason allso ppl aren't to keen on joining when you sett upp a green farming team.

hey guys remember the sf update? and tombs update? they will probably in future add updates liike they did with sf and rift. Plus, they have all that dead space in factions i mean a lot of dead space, they will probably do something about that in the future.....hopefully soon

eternal grove has a ton of greens, and definetly isn't soloable.

maybe grenth's balance would work, but I haven't tried it. however, i want to try barrage/pet down there to get an ugly stick.

it's areas, thus far, that are farmable, as others have said.

but if you have a pve oriented guild you could probably make areas of your own.

Why is farming a good thing?

to make some money, or get that certain green you wanted.
