Rotscale farming question

I have tried getting a group together several times to kill Rotscale, but we get owned every time and people start to give up. I know I can't do anything about the droppers, but what professions should the group have and bow many of each. I know that everyones builds are different, but I just want a general idea of what works best.

Also- It may be suicide, but I was considering trying to solo it with a 605 monk. Am I wasting my time or do you think it will work if I try enough?
