I have been playing around with my Rit/N for a while now, trying to build him to a good MM, and finally found a build that seems to be working. He drops a couple spirits and then summons Golem and Bone Horrors (Fiends are too expensive Energy-wise, even with Boon of Creation.)
Class: Rt/N
Attributes:
Spawning Power: 9+1+3
Communing: 9+1
Death Magic: 12
Other Equipment Notes: Use the extra-energy armor set. You will want it. I was running it with a superior communing instead of minor, but 300 HP base is a bad thing.
Skills:
Animate Bone Horror (Can switch to minions if you just want to nuke using explosive growth)
Animate Flesh Golem {Elite}
Shadowsong (Can switch to Bloodsong or Dissonance as needed)
Pain
Explosive Growth
Boon of Creation
Blood of the Master
Flesh of my Flesh
Strategy:
Start every battle with Boon of Creation and Explosive Growth. The extra Energy and damage is what balanced out the lack of Soul Reaping.
Played like a basic MM, really. Make sure you have Boon of Creation and Explosive growth on, and use Pain and Shadowsong for any time there are no corpses to convert to Bone Horrors. Shadowsong will help against any melee coming near you, since it blinds. Keep the golem out at all times, if at all possible. The Bone Horrors are only level 14, so they can't do as much damage as a necro primary can, but Explosive Growth really helps make up the differance, and they can still body block well with the high spawning power (I have had 8 minions out for an entire boss battle in Raisu without any of them dying. And they were tanking the entire time.) These little guys can take a LOT of damage.

Your stats are incorrect, unless you have more runes on you. You can't have 12 + 12 + 9. The best you can have is 12 + 12 + 3 (then include runes).
Is Boon of Creation your only healing? I use Vampiric Horror as well as Bone Fiend and Golem, otherwise I will bring Recouperation (I have 3 points into Restoration Magic).

The link below may provide more information on helping to tune your build. It's a minion bomber build that has been very effective in PvE and one of my personal favorites. The build exploits the Boon of Creation and Explosive Growth very well when using bone minions. I've been using the minion bomber myself for a very long time and from my personal experience, as long as there are corpses, you never have to heal and you're never low on energy. The only problem I have are necros that hog corpses and hate on all other minion builds.

I saw that one, but really I don't want to be a minion bomber. I liked this build I use for the ability to set up the spirits and do damage without corpses.
Yeah, Boon of Creation is my only heal, which is a downside. But I really don't see anything else I could kick out, since pain is good for damage, shadowsong is great for survival against assasins/warriors that rush past the tank, and Explosive Growth really does do good damage for me.

blind does make war/ass useless in the damage dealing department.....
but with communning that high u could take a spike spell (like channeling strike or a AoE spell such as ancestial rage or spirit rift)
raising spirits takes a long time to cast and ur healer or tanks should be watching for things like that to happen....if not unplug cuz ur on a ---- team.
take a +3 rune to restoraion and solve ur healing problem
