Vermin

DO the stupid rodents we call vermin in the skyway drop anything other than crap?

Not much good drops from them at all. I did just get a gold staff that was kind of odd. It required 9 water. 20% Illusion +1. Halves casting time of restoration 20%.

I've never seen a weapon with stats for 3 different professions.

This was the best I got in 3 hours of farming it.

They pretty much only drop crap, but they drop a LOT of crap, which adds up after a little while. Also, a vermin boss, Shreader Sharptalon, does in fact drop a green item, although as greens go its still pretty much crap and doesn't sell well.

I am usually farming these cretins plus the jade guys (leaving the Rt boss alone).
The vermins give nowadays 1-2 blue per run, totally useless mods btw.
The Jade guys though can drop nice things like 10% gold, 20% purple runes and or items.
Facit: if you know what you doing you can turn out the same build to be a Jade smasher

I'm sorry, but if you don't buy keys you'll get around 2k per run and 1 run takes 6 mins.
Vermins do drop Celestial items.

So this place is not crap at all

are they rare celestial items or just crap ?

All celestials are rare, but those dropped from vermin do not have max damage( or even close) try the chest, they do frop some decent celestial items

you can salvage scales from vermin hides >_< they sell for 100+ gold per 10 pieces at the trader now i think

they don't entirely drop crap. a long time ago i got a 7-16 zealous celestial dagger of fortitude +29... yes it sucks but at least i was able to salvage the zealous mod. got another max icy celestial dagger of shelter +7 req.9 last week while i was salvaging scales for my necromancer armor. i don't farm the place for hours on end. drops depend on your luck i guess.

The drops generally suck. I've had one celestial weapon and those green daggers many times. But just from vendoring the white and salvaging the scales I can pull in 15k an hour or so.
